My Perfect Job(s)
This is the best list I have ever seen. It’s like it was made for me. Doing a quick count I would love to do 45 of the things on this list. Now granted some of them are suppose to be funny quips (like the socialite one) and some you won’t be able to do once you leave college (like intern or work study) but there are some actual careers, like being a freelancer or a teacher. Actually, I would love to make some extra money being a substitute teacher for younger kids*. How does someone get into that?
Anyway, I have seriously thought about doing the librarian thing. I also really want to work at an independent bookstore (eh, I guess B&N would do fine, but why work there if you can work at an “indie” store?). It just seems to fit with the whole Creative Writing-or-English-major-knowing-now-I’m-going-to-graduate-school thing. Being realistic, what else am I going to do with an BA in either of those two majors besides graduate school?
But can someone point me to the ice cream and chocolate taster jobs please? If that’s not the dream job you didn’t know you want but now that you know of it nothing else could ever compare, then I don’t know what is.
*That is, if I hadn’t been arrested within the first 30 minutes for slapping all those kids silly.
that list was made for me as well. Event Coordinator is what I used to be (and wish I was every day) and it was my perfect job. Getting back to it is the hard part!

Hee hee, I know I’d slap little kids, too, after a few minutes of their sh*t! Kids are loud and they just. don’t. STOP. Ugh.
Mmm. Ice cream. Now that sounds like a great idea. (My ass and flabby abs would like to open it for discussion, though.)

Hope you get back there Tiff!
Lisa-I can’t stand kids, but I think sub. teacher would be awesome. You tell them what to do or show them a video while you read a book or something. It’s my perfect teaching situation.
